As a Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance community participation, foster relationships, and facilitate dialogue within our various community spaces. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our community initiatives align with our agency's values and objectives. This role requires a passion for community building, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and implement effective programmes and initiatives with partners and stakeholders to elevate agency's brand presence, support fundraising efforts and meet the needs of the community.
- Build rewarding connections and collaborations with partners and stakeholders to promote and strengthen buy-in and alignment of the agency's mission and programmes.
- Monitor and analyze community feedback, metrics, and trends to inform decision-making and continuously improve engagement strategies.
- Execute community engagement programmes with the aim to influence, involve, build and engage the community in raising awareness and knowledge of our Family Strengthening Programme to partners and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse engagement through multiple platforms.
- Evaluate the engagement efforts through quantitative and/or qualitative methods and data analysis of obtained results.
- To plan, develop and manage cross functional projects with stakeholders and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in community management, engagement, or related roles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for community building and creating positive social impact.
- Working experience in the Social Service related sector would be advantageous.
- Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with multiple timelines and stakeholders.
- Analytical, resourceful and possess strong organisational, project management, administrative and documentation skills.
- A team player with strong interpersonal & communication skills (in both verbal and writing). Skilled with MS Office applications, Google Workspace
