We are looking for a specialist in deploying onto the AWS Cloud, with a strong understanding and proficiency in AWS services. Ideally, candidates will also have exposure to GCloud in the past.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and uphold our cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Create and manage automated deployment pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Monitor system performance and resolve any arising issues.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless code integration into production.
- Enforce and update security protocols for our cloud infrastructure.
- Enhance scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems continually.
- Engage with diverse teams to explore and implement innovative technologies and processes for infrastructure and development enhancements.
- Take part in on-call rotations for addressing critical production issues.
- Document and sustain system configurations and procedures.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a particular emphasis on AWS, and familiarity with GCloud is advantageous.
- Proficiency in database management and SQL is essential.
- Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities are necessary.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills are critical.
- The ability to work both independently and in a team setting is essential.
- AWS certifications would be beneficial.
