Overview:
Tatler Asia is seeking a highly innovative and experienced Regional Creative Director to lead our creative team across multiple platforms and disciplines. This role demands a visionary professional who is deeply ingrained in multimedia design trends and possesses extensive experience in branding, events, and experiential design. As a leader at Tatler Asia, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be responsible for setting the creative direction that aligns with our brand's heritage, while pushing boundaries to keep us at the forefront of the luxury media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Creative Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of designers, photographers, video editors and multimedia specialists in the region to produce compelling, high-quality work that reflects the luxury and sophistication of the Tatler brand.
- Strategic Branding Design: Work together with the Marketing team, develop and implement innovative branding strategies that effectively convey the brand's identity and values across all platforms and touchpoints.
- Multimedia Expertise: Stay ahead of the latest trends in multimedia design and technology, integrating cutting-edge practices and tools including AI tools into the creative workflow to enhance our digital and print media presence.
- Event and Experience Design: Oversee the creative and design aspects of event planning and experiential marketing, ensuring each event is uniquely memorable and aligns seamlessly with the Tatler brand.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing,content, technology and sales teams to create synergistic designs that enhance content delivery and drive engagement.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects from concept through completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, stay within budget, meet brand guidelines and achieve artistic excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Present creative concepts and ideas to senior stakeholders, effectively communicating vision and strategy while gathering feedback to refine and improve outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Professional Experience: At least 10 years of experience in a creative leadership role within a multimedia or luxury branding environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Media Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Fully embrace and leverage AI proficiency for ideating and creating inspiring and engaging designs. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling software, and familiarity with web design tools and interfaces.
- Industry Knowledge: A robust understanding of the luxury audience, branding, marketing, and design, with a proven track record of delivering projects that resonate with high-end consumers.
- Communication and Leadership Skills: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capacity to motivate and guide creative teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, capable of leading multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously.
- Visionary Thinking: Ability to foresee and set trends rather than follow them, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining brand integrity.
