Your Role
We are looking for a Buyer to perform sourcing, evaluating and purchasing of electronics components.
What Will You Do
- To perform sourcing, evaluating and purchasing of electronics components or mechanical parts from reliable supplier that can meet required specifications.
- To negotiate with suppliers for better pricing, quantity, and delivery terms.
- To do comparison of specifications and pricing and counter propose to Engineers for alternative approval.
- To issue Purchase Orders based on purchase requisition.
- To follow up on outstanding backlog and expediting of urgent materials.
- To work with Finance or store to resolve DO and Invoice discrepancy.
- To work with QC to resolve suppliers' quality issues.
- To involve in yearly audit ISO9001 and 14001.
What Do We Want
- At least a Diploma in Electronics Engineering, Procurement and Supply Chain related discipline.
- At least 2 years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing industry (OEM).
- Proficient in Microsoft Words and Excel.
- Familiar with Sum Product, Conditional formatting, sort, filter, vlookup, pivot and formulas.
- Have experience in machining or metal stampng parts will be added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
