- Plan, coordinate, and execute programs during Term and School Holidays.
- Provide students with a caring, stimulating environment to learn, close supervision, and guidance during before and after school hours and school holidays.
- Help students grow in all aspects of life - emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual.
- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of students at all times.
- Be a responsible, good role model for the students & teachers.
Key Role/Job Function:
- Oversee day-to-day operation of the Centre and ensure its smooth running.
- Ensure good Centre performance by developing strategies in line with PCS’ vision and mission.
- Ensure teachers provide an optimum level of guidance to students to complete their school homework responsibly.
- Mentor and supervise staff & teachers to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, security, and health standards.
- Provide a warm & nurturing environment to the students at the Centre.
- Supervise and guide students with their school work as well as life skills (play, hygiene, and mealtime).
- Plan and conduct child-appropriate social and recreational activities and holiday programs.
- Teach & address classroom disciplinary issues using positive behavior support systems.
- Prepare/organize and execute/conduct creative learning activities and outings as required.
- Support the holistic development of students in alignment with PCS’ goals.
- Maintain regular communication with students' parents.
- Establish partnerships with community partners & volunteers.
- Foster good working relationships & rapport with all stakeholders - students, parents, team members, volunteers, and partners in the community.
Programme:
- Plan and implement effective student developmental programs for the Centre.
- Supervise and evaluate programs in the Centre and ensure quality care and services are maintained.
- Provide constructive feedback/suggestions to immediate superior in relation to programs and curriculum.
- Implement continuous improvement in the Centre’s program.
- Publish Centre newsletter.
- Work closely with personnel appointed by management in integrating students with special needs.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Fluent in English and Mother Tongue, both written and spoken
- Certificate in student care
- Good Classroom Management Skills
- Leadership, Business Management, Operations/Project Planning, Customer Service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- A calling to work with children
