We are representing our client, a large Chinese bank, to look for a Head to lead the existing Trade Operations team.
Job Description
- Oversee and manage a large team handling trade operations and AML screening for trade transactions, including secondary market forfaiting and supply chain transactions.
- Be the main coordinator for outsourcing arrangements relating to trade operations.
- Resolve issues, handle escalation and risk mitigations in conjunction with various stakeholders and ensure smooth operation and meeting the SLA and KPIs.
- Review and amend internal operations policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Head Office requirements.
Job Requirements
- A recognised and relevant degree.
- At least 10 years of Trade Operations experience with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
- Strong analytical and decision making skills.
- Able to drive changes and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- External trade related qualification (e.g. CDCS, CSDG) is preferred.
- Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese as the incumbent is required to liaise with Chinese stakeholders and counterparts in Head Office.
