At Elixir Technology, you will be part of a growing team for IT systems to help our business reach and succeed with consumers all over the world. We’re seeking a systems administrator who’s eager to use, learn and grow his or her technological skills.
In this role, you will protect our critical information, systems, and assets, build solutions, implement new software and hardware, provide training, and assist in the development of an overall IT strategy. In addition, our company is moving our business to the clouds, you will be part of this cloud journey.
You will be given challenging assignments, lead initiatives, and take ownership and responsibility. And you’ll receive on-the-job training to help you become a leader.
Objectives of this Role
IT/ Infra System
- Point of contact for end-user computing – user on/off boarding, troubleshooting, and training
- Provide technical support to user
- Ensure backup data recovery and risk management plans on IT systems and on AWS
- Maintain IT infrastructure, support and troubleshoot audio visual equipment such as projectors, AV systems.
- Premises and physical security – system monitoring and administration
- Procurement/management of IT assets such as servers, laptops and mobile devices
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies.
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- Liaise with and manage 3rd party IT software/hardware/services vendors
- Support and Implement DPTM, ISO standard as ISO27001
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Diploma in Computer Science
- 2-3 years’ relevant experience.
