Responsibilities:
- Take charge of all aspects of electrical engineering in the design of electrical power distribution system, switchboard, MCC and control
· Develop & review electrical related drawings, e.g. Single Line Diagram, MCC Schematic, Equipment layout, Cable ladder/tray routing layout
· Knowledge in Onshore/ Offshore standards (IEC, NEMA, IEEE & API)
· Prepare Electrical Load Analysis & List
· Familiar with Short-Circuit and Voltage Drop calculation
· Prepare & review Electrical MTO for projects
· Review Electrical equipment’s datasheet
· Strong knowledge in Low voltage MCC/Switchgear, UPS, VSD/VFD & Transformers
· Prepare specification for LV Switchgear, MCC, Transformers & VSD/VFD’s
- Reviewing of customers' specifications and drawings
- Define specifications and scope of work to contractors
- Execution of projects.
- Startup, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of plants.
- Develop engineering capabilities and work with sales team on project proposal and bidding
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
- Able to read & understand line diagram and generate Bill of Materials from single line diagram
- Knowledge on control, schematics, motor controls and materials take-off
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
- Knowledge in Mitsubishi / Siemens / Schneider / Omron PLC software would be an added advantage
- Able to take on numerous challenging tasks while simultaneously meeting high standards and deadlines / vision
- Able to communicate effectively in English at all levels, both verbally and in written reports
