Job Description
- Perform independent credit analysis/reviews on both new and existing corporate banking &/or private banking obligors preferably with value-added recommendation to mitigate identified risks.
- Perform credit grading and provisioning of obligor/s and facility/ies.
- Act as the Secretary to the Credit Committee to ensure that the quorum is met, take minutes, and follow-up on outstanding issues.
- Monitor loan covenants to ensure compliance.
- Monitor for adverse news which have negative impact on existing borrowers.
- Perform regular review, management and reporting on collateral valuations.
- Prepare both regular and ad-hoc credit reports for Branch, Head Office and MAS.
- Maintenance and reporting of the Loan Watch List.
- Prepare industry research and analysis reports from credit perspectives which should include, but not limited to, a review on the credit criteria &/or guidelines which is specific to that industry as and when requested.
- Assist Risk Analysts in their credit risks monitoring and control, loan portfolio management and review and portfolio stress testing.
- Any other duties as assigned by Deputy, HOD, Management, or Senior Management.
Requirements :
- Recognized Full Time University Degree.
- Have at least 6 years of working experiences as a Corporate Banking credit analyst in Credit Risk Management.
- Able to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin (those who are able to read financial reports and legal documents written in Mandarin will have an advantage).
- Positive working attitude, meticulous and a good team player.
