The Production Engineer is responsible for running his production line, including all incoming, in process and outgoing works for all products and materials.
A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:
- To perform optimal planning & forecasting of raw material requirement.
- To raise purchase requisition for production material requirements and to ensure that materials are properly stored in the factory
- To assist Production Manager in managing a team of supervisors, and workers in ensuring timely production and delivery of precast components
- To coordinate between Planning team, Quality Control team, Sub-contractor, technical team, and Material Procurement to ensure smooth production
- To monitor/control material usage & wastage
- To ensure end product meets projects/clients quality requirements and specifications
- Follow up on preventive measures and corrective action taken
- Adherence to Safety Practices in the work place
Requirement:
- Education: Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in construction or precast industry
- Ability to work as a team member
- Prior experience in PPVC projects will be an added advantage
Technical Competencies
- Proficient in interpreting all production-related drawings
- Knowledge of building construction, application of precast and prefabricated building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
