Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance assurance program to assess and monitor the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct periodic compliance reviews and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend remedial actions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of compliance initiatives.
- Stay updated with regulatory changes and industry developments to proactively address emerging compliance risks.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance-related matters, including AML/CFT, data privacy, and regulatory reporting.
- Prepare and present compliance reports and findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in compliance assurance, regulatory audit, or related roles in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, preferably with experience in digital banking or fintech.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Professional certification such as CAMS, CRCM, or equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin is largely preferred.
