Manager (Recreation Programmes)
As our Manager (Recreation Programmes), you will report to Chief Executive / Deputy Chief Executive. This position involves overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of recreational programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our members and Public Service Officers promoting health, wellness, and lifestyle.
Responsibilities:
- To lead the department in organising a diverse of social programmes, events and activities to enhance the overall enjoyment and advantage of owning our Club membership and to increase the membership signup rate.
- Oversee the planning, promotion, execution, coordination and engagement of a wide diverse range of social programmes to interests the members to sign up for the events and activities.
- To develop and organise social events and activities that attract all demographic.
- To ensure the compliance to our Club rules and regulations and attain the KPIs for all social events and activities.
- Implement marketing and promotional strategies to increase the awareness and participation rate for all recreational programmes.
- Develop strong relationship with new and existing events/programmes partners, instructors, sponsors, and participants.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of all social programmes and through participation feedback, attendance, survey, financial analysis and optimise the resources and manpower.
- Continuously focus on improving members satisfaction of all social programmes to create member’s loyalty and deliver a positive event experience, from their sign up to the actual day.
- To forecast the event calendar for all social recreational programmes, and manage the Club's events microsite.
- Work closely with other departments and clubhouses to foster collaboration and synergy, ensuring smoother workflows and better outcomes for initiatives and projects.
- Prepare annual budgeting, quarterly and monthly reports for Management and Executive Committee.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive and Deputy Chief Executive.
Requirements:
- Min. Degree in Events/Hospitality and with managerial role of at least 5 years of relevant working experience in an event organizing
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Able to plan and execute multiple events / activities to meet deadlines
- Able to work extended hours including weekends and public holidays when necessary
