Responsibility:
- To manage the cost of construction projects from the inception to the delivery
- Able to provide cost and material estimates, draw up projected budgets, and work alongside a team, noting any design changes and their effect on cost
- Identifying gaps between BOQ and drawings, specifications and conditions of the contract and taking it for a logical closure.
- Work with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed within budget and on time
- Participation in the pre-tendering activities with client, architect and project managers and raising relevant pre-bid queries from the given tender
- Provide administration & documentation for project in tender preparation, evaluation of claims & contract administration
- Manage the valuation of work done and handle claims and variations., etc.
- Preparing interim and final valuations, variations and claims of the construction site.
- Draw shop drawings for projects
Requirements:
- Able to work independently with minimal guidance
- Meticulous and conscientious with work
- Knowledgeable in MS Office/Excel and AutoCAD
- Knowledge in BIM is a plus
- At least 2 years LOCAL experience in QS work
- Degree/ Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Building from a recognised institute by BCA
- Fluent in English
