Summary

This position will assist in technical and contractual quality assurance on behalf of the client to ensure the leased Colocation Data Center is compliant to country, regional, global compliance, and technical standards. The role inputs into project management/governance, operations, and capacity management.


The role includes responsibility for the management of the Colocation Data Center’s master services agreement compliance and technical compliance monitoring. The Data Center Operations Manager role will be in Singapore, covering operations primarily in Singapore as well as rest of SEA & ANZ. The role will directly report to JLL South Asia Data Center Engineering Manager.


Colocation Data Center Operations

  • Assist in overseeing all aspects of the data center’s critical physical infrastructure for the client.
  • Ensure that all work performed within the space is done to a high quality and without impact to the client through effective change management
  • Ensure the colocation data center operations are in line with the master services agreement
  • Ensure the SLA with the client is adhered to by the colocation data center and escalate where required for any breaches or near misses
  • Assist improvement projects implementation, reaching out to a variety of support teams and stakeholders
  • Operate as the afterhours on-call Data Center Operations Manager for and on behalf of the client. This will include responding to any issues within the data center and managing the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s)
  • Work in partnership with the colocation data center teams and the client team to ensure 100% uptime
  • Technical point of contact on all data center building services matters
  • Oversee and report on statutory compliance and compliance to the client's global standards.
  • Initiate change management, submission and manage approvals in the change management system
  • Assist in carrying out periodic resilience audits, identify gaps and implement recommendations
  • 24/7 on call for incident management
  • Identify, track and report any deficiencies in data center performance and provide periodic updates to the business on progress
  • Review and sign off all pre planned maintenance activities within the data center
  • Work closely with other IT Services teams to understand load forecast impact on data center capacity management
