Key Responsibilities:
- Develop inspection plan and schedule for piping & static equipment in collaboration with Operations & Maintenance department. Complete inspection reports as per requirements and document them in document management systems.
- Carry out relief vale EVT testing and witness overhaul and witness testing of RV.
- Inspect pressure vessels and piping in the refinery as advised.
- Conduct planned inspections & NDE to identify internal/ external corrosion or defects, recommend repairs or inspection frequency and monitor operational reliability in order to prevent any failure/leakage and achieve plant integrity.
- Coordinate with NDT contractors on job scope needed to support inspection work requirements
- Investigate, analyze and determine root-cause of any failure or inherent defect in equipment/piping so as to make recommendations for alleviating the condition or solving the problem
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Possess API certifications 510 and/or 570.
- At least 4 years’ relevant experience in inspection of fixed equipment in utilities and power plant, failure analysis of material preferably in the process and utilities would be desirable.
- Familiar with Inspection and repair of Boilers, HRSG, Deaerator and related equipment
- Familiar with MOM statutory requirements for Steam and air service equipment and testing inspection of relief valve.
- Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions and will receive relevant training to be successful in the role.
