Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Assist Principal Investigator (PI) in data preparation, analysis, and miscellaneous research support.
- **Research Support**
- Assist in crafting research direction for multiple projects
- Prepare findings for dissemination across multiple formats, including PowerPoint/PDF presentations, papers
- **Data Preparation and Analysis**
- Prepare data for analysis; understand the context of the research to organize and process complex datasets effectively
- Code up analyses proposed by PI
- Generate replication packages for analyses.
- **Collaboration**
- Work collaboratively with other researchers and team members involved in the research project, contributing to a cohesive and productive research environment.
Qualifications
**Minimum Education Qualification: A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related areas.
- Proficiency in a general-purpose coding language (Stata and Python preferred)
- Experience in web scraping, machine learning, and numerical optimisation
- Able to communicate effectively and build rapport with individuals from different backgrounds
- Able to work independently but also as a team
- Excellent work planning and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure in a changing environment
