is a leading metals solutions provider in the region, offering a broad portfolio of quality metals and comprehensive services from sourcing and distribution to technical consultancy and collaborative research.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee both overseas and local procurement functions, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Lead the procurement team towards sustainable procurement practices, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations into procurement strategies.
- Monitor and control the supply chain management process to optimize efficiency and mitigate risks.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure materials comply with standards and procedures.
- Evaluate purchase requisitions for compliance with established business controls, including contract terms, risk assessment, pricing, and supplier selection. Take appropriate actions to ensure business control requirements are met.
- Ensure all purchasing activities align with corporate compliance standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement
- Bachelor's degree or above in Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or a related business discipline.
- Experience in ESG strategic planning and establishing departmental work procedures. Proficiency in ERP systems.
- Relevant experience in handling raw materials is preferred
- Fluent in Cantonese to effectively communicate with relevant overseas cantonese speaking vendors
- Willingness to occasionally travel overseas based on business needs.
