Job Description:
- Ensure that lesson plans are prepared on time and that all class activities are conducted up to the required standards as deemed by the Curriculum team.
- Set up various learning corners in the centre, in accordance with the Curriculum.
- Builds a secure and good learning environment for the Infants by forming meaningful and trusting relationships with them.
- Responsible for the constant supervision, safety, and well-being of the infants
- Recognizes and responds to the needs of each infants by using developmentally appropriate teaching and child behaviour management techniques
- Shares in the responsibility for planning, preparing and implementing stimulating, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage infant’s creativity and learning and promote each infant’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development
- Participates fully and consistently as a conscientious team member in caring for the infants and in the overall operation of the centre; maintains regular and open communication with centre’s team members and all other co-workers
- Establishes and maintains regular communication with families and the members of the community
- Ensures the program always operates in compliance with all childcare licensing standards
- Must know and implement Centre routines and practices; Childcare Centres Act regulations (MSF Singapore); Code of Ethics (AECES) and the licensing guidelines as stipulated by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA Singapore).
- Observes and documents relevant information on each Infant's progress as required/as per Centre practices
Requirements:
- Min certification of relevant industry. eg ACEY, HCIC
- Must be able to certified by ECDA.
