Job Responsibilities:
- Supervisors ensure that production processes are running smoothly and efficiently
- Oversee the workflow, monitor production schedules, and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet production targets
- Responsible for maintaining high-quality standards for the products being manufactured
- Implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues that may arise in the production process
- Safety is paramount in any manufacturing environment, especially when working with precious metals
- Supervisors enforce safety protocols, conduct safety training sessions, and ensure that all workers adhere to safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries
- Supervisors oversee inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and with logistics teams to manage outgoing shipments
- Supervisors actively seek out opportunities to improve production processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs
- Ensure that the facility operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, including environmental regulations and precious metal purity standards
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Nitec in Chemical with 4-5 years of maintenance experience in stripping and plating wet process for precious metal recovery industry
- Knowledge about NEA safety requirements for the wet processes is advantage
