School Officer
- Contract duration: 6 months
- Salary: $15/hr
- Location: Tampines
- Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm
Job Description
- Take attendance of students who report after 7.30 am,
- Attend to unwell students who are sent by their teachers to the Holding Area, calling the student’s parent to fetch their child to see a doctor
- Monitor the students waiting for their parents at the Holding Area, to ensure that the students are safe and accounted for cyber patrol to monitor and identify social media posts by our students, and report posts that are of concern , deployed to supervise students serving detention, according to schedule planned
- Design and implement lesson package to educate students: patrol outside the school after dismissal time - patrol the neighbourhood to monitor students’ behaviour, disperse groups of our students who may be gathering around the neighbourhood, and advise students to go home.
Requirement
- Min. GCE ‘O’ Level qualifications
- Min. 2 years’ experience in similar position and preferably in a School Environment. (Working experience in Police Force /Security Services would be an added advantage.)
- Proficient in MS Excel. PowerPoint and Words, and be IT savvy
- Meticulous, responsible and familiar with Cyber Patrol
- Competent in the use of social media
- Able to work independently as well as able to communicate clearly and patiently to students and parents
