We are looking for Core Banking Project Manager ( APAC) for one of our clients in Singapore and your role encompasses
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span across one or multiple lines of business
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment of one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
- Assume ownership of topics related to assigned project/s for all relevant tasks, commitments, deliverables, and queries
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plan for all phases of the project
- Act as an internal quality control check for the project
- Deliver appropriate and effective operational stakeholders to steering committee stakeholders with the aid of clear, and synthesized presentation decks
- Management of post production Go-Live issues to ensure that incidents and problems are addressed efficiently with complete impact analysis and tracked from the time raised to resolution
- Contribute to APAC Core Banking IT BAU activities
- Maintain and organize sharepoint repository of project and application documents and decks
- Organize and preside meetings and prepare concise minutes with tracking of action items
Technical Skills:
- 7 + years of experience in Financial Services as Project Manager / Analyst Having manage or contribute significantly in at least a system migration project. Good to have technical know how on: SQL, Unix Technical IT knowledge
- Strong diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from executives, sponsors, team members, & stakeholders
- Ability to work under multiple projects within respective timeframes
- Demonstrate ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Ability to synthesize complex situations / subjects and to propose solution for complex challenges
- Experience in Agile and SCRUM methodologies will be an added advantage
- Background in application development process, Agile, Waterfall, JIRA Tools: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, Sharepoint
