We are seeking a Board-Certified Veterinary Specialist Dermatologist to join our team.
Job Scope
- Provide clinical consultations to referring veterinarians and pet owners regarding dermatological issues, including but not limited to:
- Skin, ear, hair, nail and mouth disorder
- Allergic, infectious, parasitic, congenital, autoimmune, neoplastic, and hormonal skin and ear diseases
- Perform diagnostic and medical procedures including but not limited to skin and ear cytology, skin scraping, skin and ear cultures, intradermal allergy testing, biopsy and surgical, video otoscopy and CO2 laser treatments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals within the Company and from referring veterinary clinics to develop appropriate treatment plans for animals
- Supervise and train veterinary technicians and other staff members involved in dermatology procedures
- Incorporate best practices in veterinary dermatology into clinic protocols
- Represent the Company as the thought leader in dermatology at conferences, seminars and media opportunities where required
