Project Manager - Cybersecurity & Infrastructure

Summary

A leading global financial services company is embarking on a multi-year and multi-dimension cyber security transformation initiative to continuously modernize, uplift and strengthen the cyber security posture of the organization. One key component of this program is the migration to a Global MSSP (Managed Security Service Provider) platform and service for 10 Group Companies (GCs) across 5 countries in South East Asia Region.

Reporting to the Head of Regional Program Management Office, you will own the end-to-end project management and delivery across the region.


You will manage the project and be responsible for the monitoring, tracking and governance of their completion. You are also expected to work closely with and manage project managers from service providers, GCs, related team members, project sponsors and business stakeholders. This role is based in Singapore, with expected business travels to GCs, if necessary.


Job responsibilities

  • Manage and drive the Global MSSP migration project for S.E.A region that are aligned to Group’s direction and strategy, in partnership with the Program Manager, MSSP vendor and Cyber Security team
  • Plan and collaborate across the different projects within the program to manage project dependencies within the scope, schedule and allocated budget.
  • Manage and coordinate with Program & Project Owners, Leads, SMEs and other important stakeholders to collate, understand KPIs and finalize standards, technical requirements and solutions, strategy and implementation methodology, which is aligned to the overall regional / GCs’ business directions and goals.
  • Work with multiple GCs on the project to define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives, which will all be clearly defined and documented in the project plan.
  • Identify and document prospective conformance, rigid concerns and adverse impact to GCs, associated with project initiatives through the various stakeholders engagements.
  • Engage, communicate and keep all up-to-date in a timely and effective manner with all stakeholders in all aspects of the project progress.
  • Track and report on progress against plans and encourage identification, management and escalation of project risks and issues to closure, whilst ensuring alignment to the overall program / project roadmap. Where appropriate, modify delivery designs and plans through effective change and control processes.
  • Escalate issues that impacts project and program schedules on a timely basis in alignment to project team structure, governance framework and KPIs, and propose workarounds/resolutions. Ensure to capture, prioritise and solve them in an organised manner.
  • Manage the project schedule & lead activities towards the successful closure of the project including Performance Guarantee and Warranty Period.
  • Ensure precise project deliverables / results to identify if relevant quality standards / areas are attained from all stakeholders.
  • Each of the above job responsibilities will have its own set of actions and deliverables that should be adhered to, and based on the clients PM Framework.
  • During project maintenance, lead the application maintenance and support services covering,

a. Contract Management

b. Service Level Management (SLA)

c. Service/Change Request Management (scope, schedule, budget, prioritisation)

d. Problem and Incident Management (tracking, escalation, closure)

e. Audit and Security Services

f. Risk Management


Qualifications

  • At least 8-12 years of relevant experience in a Program Management role, preferably with regional experience covering multiple business unites in multiple countries
  • Knowledge in IT security and IT service management will be advantageous with demonstrable track record of successful delivery of large-scale complex projects
  • Able to communicate with and manage key stakeholders within the program
  • Good presentation, analytical, articulation and inter-personal skills
  • Able to drive a structured approach towards project management effectiveness and the ability to motivate both internal and external project team members
  • Good partnership, influencing skills and the ability to be effective in a matrixed environment
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple projects concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with a track record in creative and successful problem-solving
  • Regular quality reviews of work products of the program / projects
  • Work closely with the various leaderships for program / project steer, support and escalation
  • Own the overall development and delivery of the program and projects within the agreed implementation roadmap
  • Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvements
  • Ability to travel internationally within the region, should this be required
