As we expand our business, Shunamite is looking for a skilled worker (Mechanical Design Engineer) who can work independantly under pressure of project time-line, customer handling, field site visits at construction sites across Singapore including Jurong Island.
- Working Days: 5.5 Working day per week
- Working Hours: (Mon to Fri - 8:30am to 5:30pm, Sat - 8:30am to 12:30pm)
- Office location: City Hall
- This role requires to travel to various construction sites and will be station in Jurong Island if needed.
Role and Responsibilities
- Able to go for site survey and meet up with customer at site to understand the project scopes
- Prepare scopes of work for installation and demolition of project
- Develop schematics / cable and instrumentation drawings.
- Prepare inputs & scope for detail drafting QA and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare Layouts and Load plans.
- Review and approve drawings & models.
- Prepare documentation for procurement and commissioning.
- Answer technical queries related to the scopes of work.
- Report on the status of engineering and update schedules and deliverables.
- Design mechanical systems which involve the selection and use of motors, actuators, gear drives, pumps, and valves.
- Computer literate including Autocad, REVIT,Inventor, Plant 3D, Navisworks,and Microsoft Office.
- Prepare and verify fabrication drawings, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production capabilities, and delivery schedules.
- 2D and 3D design experience
Requirment
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in drafting and modelling.
- Proficient in 3D CAD software AutoCad,Revit & Autodesk Inventor.
- Knowledge of fire protection system,CCTV installation
- Possess Class 3 driving license
