Role Descriptions
- Assist the Facilities Manager with all operational activities relating to facilities and maintenance for all company’s properties.
- Repairs and install fixtures and equipment.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and masonry work
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues (e.g. power switches and light sets if there are sudden power trips).
- Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and masonry tasks.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify and report on maintenance issues and critical incidences to the Facility Manager.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (e.g. basic electrical work of replacing light sets, plumbing and painting)
- Handle minor rectifications that can be rectified internally.
- Administer and evaluate requests for maintenance, store enhancement and improvement work, taking into consideration costs and feasibility, to assure overall store maintenance expenditure is within the allocated budget.
- Attend day to day work orders maintenance of the properties and maintain proper maintenance checklist.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
- Driving to all company retail outlets or property sites island-wide to resolve and attend facilities problem.
- Other ad hoc duties which may be assigned from time to time.
Role Requirements
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 3/3A Car driving licence.
- Must be able to drive daily to company outlets or property sites to resolve and attend facilities issues.
- Strong knowledge of tools and equipment such as hammer drills and plumbing equipment.
- Able to multi task and work within tight deadlines.
- Well organised and has excellent problem-solving skills.
- Able to perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and masonry tasks.
- Able to work independently as well as in team with a positive attitude.
