Job description & Responsibilities:
- Possess a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related fields.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in data analysis, user/business requirements analysis and enhancement, data analytics and visualization.
- Proactively communicate with business users, understand business requirements to enhance our investment strategies and/or policies.
- Perform data wrangling procedures to melt/reshape/pivot data frames for analytics purposes.
- Handle data analysis of structured and/or unstructured data for research purposes to model visualization, and evaluation of model performances.
- Provide Proof Of Concept (POC) analysis to validate and verify investment strategy ideas.
- Work directly with databases to query data for research purposes, where required.
- Experience in Python or R, SQL is an added advantage.
- Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Resourceful in finding simple ways to solve problems.
- Experience in developing APIs, or frontend development in ReactJS is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of using formulas/macros in Excel is an added advantage.
- Experience in economics/finance related courses is preferred.
- Experience in Tableau is preferred an added advantage.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes, with experience in an ITIL based environment.
- Good problem solving, analytical, written and communication skills.
- Review and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in datasets.
- Conduct data quality assessments and report on data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and address data quality issues.
