Responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor application systems
- Provide technical consultancy and support to the operational users in the enhancement of existing applications technologies and systems, review and endorse technical design for all projects, work with users and vendors to implement enhancements that meet users’ requirements and thus enhances the current work processes.
- Identify, evaluate and recommend technical refresh of the application systems and technologies that would benefit and also maintain existing systems and projects.
- Manage and monitor the performance of the vendors engaged for the projects to ensure their contractual and Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance, and to take appropriate corrective actions in cases of poor performance.
- Plan and manage the progress and budget of application projects and resolve arising issues so as to ensure the timely completion of the projects as scheduled.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- At least a diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or its equivalent.
- 3 years or more of relevant work experience, preferably in enterprise application development and maintenance.
- At least 2 years of project management experience.
- Possess crisis leadership and project management skills.
- Possess strong analytical and trouble-shooting abilities.
- Ability to multi-task and manage various project simultaneously
- Possess good presentation and communication skills.
