Field Support Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Comprehend various Linux-based systems and software to execute pre-defined maintenance checks on deployed systems.
- Execute maintenance checks on deployed systems at customer sites according to the maintenance schedule.
- Provide remote and on-site support to customers for issues related to deployed systems.
- Create comprehensive documentation outlining troubleshooting steps, issue resolution, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain service quality standards for customers and ensure satisfaction with deployed systems and provided support.
- Enhance maintenance workflows and processes to elevate service quality.
Requirements:
- Proficiency with Linux-based operating systems and diagnostic tools for issue identification and system configuration.
- Understanding of electrical and electronic systems, including the use of common tools like multimeters for fault diagnosis and resolution.
- Familiarity with ISO standards for parts and the necessary tools.
- Basic grasp of networking concepts, configuration, and components.
- Capability to independently conduct maintenance checks and troubleshoot on customer sites.
Good to have:
- Previous experience in on-site support and maintenance for both software and hardware.
- Experience with high-uptime systems and preventive maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with Docker and basic programming.
- Possession of a valid driving license for the company van to transport equipment.
