The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) is seeking to hire a Research Assistant to work on new device concepts for cryogenic electronics in i-Lab. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities and measurement equipment, as well as opportunities for interdisciplinary collaborations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support i-Lab in the areas including:
- Electromagnetic simulation of semiconductor components
- Design and modeling of nanoelectronic devices based on compound semiconductors
- Experimental studies on nanoelectronics devices at room temperature and cryogenic temperatures
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge in electromagnetic analysis using AWR or similar software
- Knowledge in design and simulation of RF circuits
- Knowledge in experimental methodologies to characterize RF circuits and components
- Proficiency in English is essential for conducting experimental studies
- Good team working skills
