Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Temp role-3-4 months)
Reports To: Condominium Manager / Property Manager
Responsibilities: In this role you will carry out all maintenance of the estate and mechanical and electrical works to ensure that the estate is well maintained and all electrical and equipment are in good working condition.
Job Scope
■ Carry out maintenance of the estate and where applicable oversee the repair works by contractors i.e. (and not limited to) air-conditioning, lifts, electro-magnetic locking system, lighting works, fire protection system, and sanitary & plumbing works.
■ Carry out maintenance of equipment
■ Carry out regular preventive maintenance (PM) for M&E systems
■ Carry out trouble-shooting and corrective maintenance (CM).
■ Carry out installation of fixtures or replacement works as required.
■ Conduct regular inspection and ensure building, fixtures, and furnishing defects are rectified in a timely manner.
■ Ensure access, lifts, electrical, water, and air conditioning equipment and systems are operational at optimal levels.
■ Supervise installation / renovation / replacement works on facilities and equipment which are carried out by vendors / contractors and ensures all works are carried out appropriately.
■ Setup of audio-visual equipment for meetings and events.
■ Discuss issues and solutions with other members of the team.
■ Ensure proper documentation of inspection, testing, commissioning, maintenance, repair and service activities.
■ Assist the condo manager in the collection of data related to facility maintenance as and when required.
■ Liaise with other stakeholders on maintenance matters.
■ Collaborate with team members to ensure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and objectives are met.
■ Support and guide new technicians in the job role of a maintenance technician.
■ Stock-taking and tracking of equipment and supplies relating to job function
■ Escalate complex problems and issues to the condo manager.
■ Perform any other duties as assigned by the condo manager.
Requirements:
■ Possess at least NITEC course in Electrical, Air Conditioning, Mechanical, Building Services or equivalent.
■ Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.
■ Organized, meticulous, resourceful, proactive and take initiatives at work.
■ Able to work well independently as well as in a team.
■ Knowledge of PC skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
■ Able to interpret blueprints, technical drawings and sketches to calculate requirements
■ Able to work after office hours and weekends
