JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Operations Assistant Manager involves a diverse set of responsibilities aimed at ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.


1. Staff Management:

- Supervising and coordinating the work of restaurant and bar staff.

- Conducting training sessions for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff to maintain service standards.

- Creating employee schedules and managing shifts.


2. Customer Service:

- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

- Monitoring service quality and implementing improvements where necessary.


3. Inventory and Supply Management:

- Overseeing inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies.

- Ordering stock and maintaining relationships with suppliers.

- Implementing inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.


4. Financial Management:

- Assisting in budgeting and financial planning.

- Monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure profitability.

- Analyzing financial data to identify areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.


5. Operational Efficiency:

- Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures.

- Streamlining processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.


6. Event Coordination:

- Organizing and managing events such as private parties, corporate functions, or special promotions.

- Collaborating with marketing and promotional teams to attract customers and drive sales during events.


7. Team Leadership:

- Motivating and leading a team to achieve operational goals.

- Fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.


8. Administrative Tasks:

- Handling administrative duties such as payroll processing, scheduling, and record-keeping.

- Utilizing software systems for inventory management, scheduling, and financial tracking.


9. Adaptability and Problem-Solving:

- Being prepared to handle unexpected challenges that may arise during daily operations.

- Quickly assessing situations and making informed decisions to resolve issues effectively.


10. Able to commit and work during weekends / Public holiday.
