BAR MANAGER

The Bar Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of service and quality associated with our Michelin-starred restaurant. They are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operation, from inventory management and staff training to customer service and menu development. The Bar Manager works closely with the restaurant management team to uphold the restaurant's reputation for exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bar Operations Management:Supervise daily operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures.
    Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
    Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
    Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar area.
  2. Staff Management and Training:Recruit, train, and supervise bar staff, including bartenders and barbacks.
    Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to staff.
    Schedule staff efficiently to meet business needs while controlling labor costs.
  3. Customer Service:Foster a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere for guests.
    Interact with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
    Train staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold the restaurant's standards.
  4. Menu Development and Beverage Selection:Work with the executive chef and management team to develop innovative and high-quality beverage offerings.
    Curate a diverse and well-rounded selection of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.
    Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new and seasonal ingredients into the menu.
  5. Financial Management:Monitor and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
    Control costs by managing inventory, minimizing waste, and optimizing pricing strategies.
    Prepare and manage budgets for the bar department.
  6. Events and Special Promotions:Plan and execute special events, promotions, and themed nights to attract guests and drive sales.
    Collaborate with the marketing team to promote bar offerings through various channels.
