The Diocese of Singapore (DOS) has under her umbrella, 27 churches, community services, schools and chaplaincies. The Diocesan Central Administration (DCA) is the corporate headquarter for DOS.
We are recruiting a Property Officer to form part of the team to carry out the development and maintenance of Diocesan properties.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Development Board in project and facility management
- Assist in office procurement and coordinate with contractors on maintenance work
- Liaise with service providers (e.g. Cleaners, gardeners, security, etc.) and inspect works completed by them.
- Liaise with Government Authorities (e.g. SLA, URA, LTA) for Land/Building matters
- Attend to occupants and supervise common property usage
- Assist in Fire Safety Measure of the premise
- Work with DCB to set up Emergency Response Team
- Support pest control response and solution
- Support in DCB maintenance work when required
- Support in DB meetings when required
Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in disciplines related to Building or Estate Management
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Project and Facility Management
- Have good interpersonal skills
- Able to explore ways to improve SOP and process
- Proactive at sourcing effective fire safety measures
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and work experience.
