Job Summary

Extensive experience required in data migration and in leading Esri product upgrade projects

Experience in Spatial DB design, querying databases.

Understanding on database queries with PL/SQL, SQL, Oracle

Responsibilities:

1. Web GIS Application Development:Create and maintain web-based GIS applications using ESRI ArcGIS Server and JavaScript API.
   Implement user-friendly interfaces for map visualization, data querying, and geospatial analysis. Development using ASP.NET MVC, C#.NET, MSSQL, Web services, Windows services, MVC Web API.
   
2. Database Management:Design, develop, and manage GIS databases, including geodatabases and spatial data models.
   Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security within the GIS system.
   
3. Integration and Interoperability:Integrate GIS with other systems and technologies, such as GPS, remote sensing, and enterprise systems.
   Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data exchange and interoperability.
   
4. Geospatial Analysis and Modeling:Perform spatial analysis, including proximity analysis, network analysis, and geoprocessing tasks.
   Develop custom geospatial models to address specific business needs.
   
5. Documentation and Training:Document GIS workflows, processes, and code.
   Provide training and support to end-users on GIS tools and applications.
   

Requirements:

1. Technical Skills:Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS software suite (ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server).
   Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
   Familiarity with spatial databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
   
2. GIS Expertise:Understanding of geospatial concepts, coordinate systems, and map projections.
   Experience with cartography, symbology, and map design.
   
3. Problem-Solving Abilities:Analytical mindset to troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related issues.
   Ability to optimize GIS workflows for efficiency and performance.
   
4. Communication and Collaboration:Excellent communication skills to work with stakeholders, users, and development teams.
   Collaborative approach to contribute effectively in a team environment.
   
5. Education and Certifications:Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or related field.
   ESRI certifications (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop Associate, ArcGIS Web Application Developer) are advantageous.
