Job Description:
· Prepare ophthalmic surgical equipment and assist in procedures
· Provide pre- and post-operative care and instructions to patients and caregivers
· Maintain accurate records and uphold professional standards in delivering safe and competent patient care
· Perform front counter duties including patient registration, dispensing, booking of operating theatres, collection of payment, providing financial counselling, handling of enquiries through phone calls or email, and appointment fixing
· Ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the Clinic Manager or Doctor
Requirements:
· Diploma/Degree in Nursing from institutions with Practicing Certificate (Registered Nurse) approved by the Singapore Nursing Board
· Prior operating theatre or ophthalmic nursing experience will be advantageous
· Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Proactive and positive working attitude
