As an intern, you will be instrumental in improving our engineering practices. You will work closely with senior engineers and management to identify relevant indicators that align with our strategic goals and help implement metrics-driven solutions to enhance product quality and productivity.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of infrastructure and development metrics that accurately reflect the efficiency and effectiveness of our product development efforts.
- Participate in the evaluation and refinement of Developer Experience (DevEx) initiatives to ensure optimal engineer satisfaction and productivity.
- Collaborate with the infra team to integrate metrics such as deployment frequency, lead time for changes, change failure rate, and time to restore service into our practices.
Qualifications:
- Ability to analyze business requirements, generate ideas, and design efficient solutions.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new languages and technologies as needed for project success.
- You are familiar developing applications with Python or Go
- You are familiar with automation and Infrastructure as Code
- You are familiar with at least one cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- You are familiar with GNU/Linux-based systems
- You are familiar with microservices architecture
