- Project Description: We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL and Simcorp to contribute to our data analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial data management, excellent analytical abilities, and be willing to work extended hours when necessary. - Responsibilities: Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources, including SimCorp database.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making processes.
• Conduct thorough data validation and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and drive efficiency.
• Provide expertise in SimCorp data structures, workflows, and processes.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis and investigate data-related issues as needed. - Mandatory Skills Description:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• At least 3-6 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the financial industry.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
• Hands-on experience with SimCorp either as an end-user or familiarity with using SimCorp data.
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, investment operations, and portfolio management concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work late hours when necessary to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues. - Nice-to-Have Skills:Asset Management / Financial reporting / investment or risk monitoring
