As a Senior Service Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and support of our products and solutions for our customers. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication with both customers and vendors for problem escalation and resolution. Candidates should be self-driven, resourceful, manage task efficiently without constant supervision with an eye on providing the best possible customer experience.
Essential Functions:
- Provide knowledgeable and meticulous service delivery and support
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to establish optimal operational setups for supporting these environments.
- Offer operational support for day-to-day activities related to deployment, connectivity, break-fix and system updates
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Familiarity of disk and tape storage systems and storage ecosystems including disk arrays, tape libraries and storage software
- Experience working with support processes/systems
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and communications skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in IT or related disciplines
- At least three years of experience with support and service delivery
- Team player
- Must be able to speak English and Mandarin fluently
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
