Planning & Scheduling Engineer III

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Take over as sold project schedule from tender/commercial team and overall responsible to develop and maintain integrated project schedule using project management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project

· Analysing various project data and identifying critical path activities which could impact the schedule.

· Set up and maintain integrated project schedule planning which contains contract requirements, constraints, milestones, engineering, procurement, fabrication, subcontractors, transport and installation, multiple work breakdown structures (WBS).

· Work closely with cost controller and create offshore execution progress curves (planned vs actual), integrated project planning (base line vs progress planning) and engineering progress control (S-curves, man hours budgeted / spent / forecast, man hour histogram).

· Hold regular schedule meetings with key project stakeholders such as Package Managers, SCM manager, Operations Manager and Engineering Manager to ensure that their planning and durations for each schedule activity within their respective areas have not changed due to project developments.

· Monitor and reporting on project schedule, as well as communicating project status and schedule updates to project stakeholders

· Participating in risk management and change management activities

· Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies

· Analysing project data and providing recommendations for improvements to schedule sequencing

· Set up Planned versus As Built planning including clarification of deviations and lessons learned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

· A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field

· A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project planning, with significant experience in the offshore oil and gas industry

· Relevant experience working on previous T&I offshore construction projects is preferred

· Strong knowledge of project management processes and procedures, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management

· Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders

· The ability to work effectively in a team environment

· A commitment to safety and a strong safety record

· Professional certification in project management, such as Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred

· Experience with project management software, such as Primavera or Microsoft Project

· Fluent in English
