Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that ESS components and systems meet specified quality requirements and standards.
- Define quality metrics, key performance indicators (KPIs), and acceptance criteria for ESS development projects.
- Conduct inspections, tests, and audits throughout the product development lifecycle to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and deviations from established quality standards.
- Document and maintain quality records, test reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and corrective action plans to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Provide training and support to internal teams and external partners on quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. A master's degree or higher may be preferred for more advanced positions.
- Experience in quality assurance and quality control processes, preferably in the energy storage industry or related field.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001, and experience in implementing and maintaining QMS within an organization.
- Experience with product development lifecycle processes, including design control, verification and validation, risk management, and change management.
- Knowledge of quality inspection techniques, statistical process control (SPC), and quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of best practices in quality management, product testing, and validation processes for ESS components and systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality requirements are met throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners.
Preferably:
· Deep understanding of quality standards, regulations, and guidelines applicable to ESS development, including industry standards such as UL 9540, UL 1973, IEC 62619, NFPA 855, and etc..
