Job Description:
- Support students in a full day program in activities of daily living including meals and nap time.
- Assist teachers in planning, developing, delivering and evaluating appropriate individualized educational services, learning programmes and goals for students with special needs in the clinic.
- Assist teachers in managing students in classrooms, therapy area and in community-based activities
- Supervise and assist individual or small groups of students in educational or learning activities or tasks set by teachers
- Assist teachers in the preparation and cleaning up of instructional materials and/or classroom environment for lessons
- Support students to develop skills in personal care, independence, and activities of daily living
- Support students in the preparation and cleaning up of their learning environment, maintaining good hygiene.
- Collaborate and consult with allied health professionals, parents/caregivers and external agencies to ensure quality support and well-being of students
Job Requirements:
- Minimum GCE "A" levels, polytechnic diploma or equivalent
- Possess good Team work, Time Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Possess Effective Oral and Written Communications Skills
- Possess prior experience with children with special needs
