We are seeking a skilled APP developer responsible for building Android and iOS applications. Your primary responsibilities will involve designing and developing these applications, and collaborating with the team working on various layers of the infrastructure. Hence, a dedication to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products is imperative.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications and systems integrations necessary for operation.
- Ensure adherence to best practices throughout the software development life cycle.
- Actively participate in all stages of the software development process.
- Collaborate with software engineers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain the APP.
- Engage in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Deploy systems to production and provide post-implementation support.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.
- Provide maintenance support to customers by investigating and rectifying reported system shortcomings.
- Understand the interdependencies of services (applications, systems, and databases) and accurately pinpoint problem areas to enhance overall efficiency.
- Evaluate opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation to share with team members and other stakeholders.
- Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends in mobile and web technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficiency in React Native (Javascript/Typescript) and either Android (Java) or iOS (Objective C/Swift).
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent debugging abilities.
- iOS & Android frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with continuous integration through Jenkins.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, especially Git.
- Web Services / Application Program Interfaces – JSON, XML.
- RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, including quickly adapting to new technologies.
