Job Responsibilities:
The engineer will be engaged in various solarization programs/projects for buildings/properties, focusing on:
- Develop BIM models, design plans, schematics, and calculations for projects (building and infrastructure), including R&R and A&A projects.
- Create, update, and revise M&E BIM models. Generate documentation, drawings, and quantities. Ensure BIM quality and accuracy.
- Provide support on all BIM-related matters, such as software trials, setting up standards, templates, families, and computational tools.
- Consult relevant authorities for clarifications and seek approval for proposed BIM models and designs.
- Support tender calling and evaluation for consultancy and construction services.
- Attend project meetings. Liaise and coordinate with Clients, Consultants, and Contractors. Conduct BIM coordination meetings.
- Review project documents. Prepare project briefs/specifications and support cost estimation.
- Offer technical support and advice to internal departments and clients.
- Provide technical support for non-building related projects, including innovation studies and M&E improvement initiatives.
- Respond promptly to technical submissions and queries from external parties.
- Assist the SO in ad-hoc technical tasks and projects as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- At least five (5) years of experience in BIM modelling and design for mechanical systems in building and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with lager contract values for building and infrastructure projects.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Degree/Diploma in BIM. The Degree in Mechanical Engineering must be from a University recognized by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore and/or accreditation recognized by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit. Knowledge in software like Naviswork, BIM360, and design calculation software such as Autosprink, Relux, and ElectricalOM is advantageous.
- Familiarity with BIM modelling, drawings, documentation, coordination, and generating drawings directly from BIM software.
- Completion of BIM certification courses from BCA or equivalent is advantageous.
