Location: Tanjong Pagar
- Evaluate credit applications, approve them that are within delegated authority and recommend them to higher approval parties for applications exceeding delegated authority
- Ability to understand financial statement, perform financial spreading and interpret financial ratio
- Prepare a credit write up for large ticket customers that exceed retail threshold
- Manage the entire approval process for large ticket customers
- Communicate with Sales on conditioned credit applications, outstanding issues (if any) and to provide guidance on credit application (if required)
- Ensure credit applications are in compliance with internal and external policies
- Perform data sampling check on credit applications
- Joint site visit with sales colleagues (if required)
- Ensure sound credit approvals for both retail and large ticket customers through quality credit assessment.
- Support to review and update business processes and policies relating to Credit and Risk
- Support to monitor portfolio quality through early identification of potential problem accounts
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by Credit & Risk Manager / Head of Credit & Risk
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year working experience in Credit and Risk function, with preference given to financial institutions and automotive industry
- Bachelor's Degree
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Meticulous, good analytical skills and problem-solving skills in delivering quality work
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI
- Team player with positive learning attitude, able to work independently in fast pace environment, able to multitask and manage time effectively.
