Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of a single instance SAP S/4 Hana including related systems for the Group including new markets and other related transformation change efforts including efficiency and effectiveness initiatives.
  • Performed at least one successful, large-scale implementation of SAP HANA project in a lead capacity.
  • Good knowledge in SAP functional areas like FICO, MM, SD, PS and technical areas such as ABAP and BASIS.
  • Proven ability to interact with various business users, senior management, IT teams and external vendors effectively.
  • Experience in project plans, milestones, measures, budgets, resource and time management.
  • Excellent leadership skills and emotional intelligence to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts and build, guide and drive the various teams in the transformation journey from project conceptualization through to operations.
  • Work with service providers to meet project deadlines, identify project obstacles, proactively mitigate risks, and escalate and resolve issues effectively.
  • Prepare/manage work plans, schedules, project estimates/budget, resource plans, vendor services/contracts and status reports on a regular basis.
  • Manage the scope change process with identification of risks and issues, and facilitate resolution, mitigation, and prioritization.
  • Conduct regular project meetings and provide regular status monitoring on all project activities.
  • Manage stakeholders’ expectations, providing regular project status update.
  • Identify project risks and work closely with team members to mitigate the risks and resolve project issues.
  • Conduct regular quality assessment, monitor project performance and actively take preventive/corrective actions.
  • Proper hand-over to Support team in accordance with procedures in place.
  • Lead the team in user acceptance testing and end user training for SAP S/4 Hana implementation.
  • Review training documentation and coordinate Train the Trainer sessions to key users and BPOs.
  • Review policies and procedures to identify and implement process improvements, work with different stakeholders to support the organisation on initiatives in organisational excellence journey.
  • Project oversight of accounting operational review and support to departments and investee companies, ensure close monitoring and controls are in place and timely recognition of transactions per accounting standards and internal accounting policies.
  • Ensure that adequate systems and processes are in place for operations and provide advice on financial guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Participate in finance transformation initiatives and play leadership role to manage process and teams.
  • Support the end-to-end integration with other functional modules, CRM and operational systems.
  • Active involvement in Go-live and Post go-live support and as part of the internal COE team and working with outsourced vendor in respect of application maintenance services.

Requirements

  • Post-Graduate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance, Business Management related.
  • Minimally 10 years of relevant working experience, with 8 years of Project Management experience with IT application development projects as well as IT application maintenance.
  • SAP FICO experience and certification with at least 2 projects implemented.
  • A solid SAP consulting, Project management background with good grip over methodologies.
  • Working experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as single instance SAP S4 Hana and related systems such as Concur, SuccessFactors, Salesforce for CRM.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP and Excel
  • CA certification a good-to-have
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate collaboration and teamwork, is innovative and constantly seeks improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, able to think out of the box, work under pressure and tight project timelines.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills.
