Job responsibilities
- Monitor and receive import & export pre-alerts from oversea offices or agent, check for the ETA date upon receive documents;
- Perform mapping & verify documents in the system once confirm, notify export team if there are any transshipment cargo for loading in our own consolidation container;
- Work closely with warehouse/vendor for trucking and unstuffing;
- Arrange for payment based on carrier billing and declaration of clearance permit (if required);
- Handover local discharge shipment together with the DO and BL for local clearance process to Operations Team;
- Update import origin offices the transshipment cargo connecting vessel details;
- Place booking with co-loader for those shipments that we are not forming our own consolidation;
- Together submit to the co-loader the necessary documentation and pre-alert destination offices once ready;
- Perform Profit & Loss analysis for import containers and send out/take in the billing from/to offices;
- Close file within the timeframe given in SOP.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in LCL shipments handling
- Self-discipline, initiative, and able to work independently
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer Service oriented
