Our Client is a leading logistics service provider and they are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to become a part of their team.
THE ROLE
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for:
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automated material handling systems, including conveyor systems, sorters, robotics, and automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS).
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance of automated equipment. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and address them proactively.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the automated systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement changes and optimize system performance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of automated material handling systems in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), robotics, conveyor systems, and other automation technologies.
