- Assess credit applications, approving those within our authority and referring those beyond it to higher-ups.
- Understand financial statements, conduct financial analysis, and interpret ratios.
- Write credit reports for significant customers exceeding retail limits.
- Oversee the approval process for large customers.
- Collaborate with Sales on conditional credit applications and address outstanding issues.
- Ensure credit applications comply with internal and external policies.
- Conduct random checks on credit applications.
- Conduct joint site visits with sales colleagues when necessary.
- Guarantee responsible credit approvals for both retail and significant customers through rigorous assessment.
- Assist in reviewing and updating Credit and Risk policies and processes.
- Monitor portfolio quality by identifying potential problem accounts early.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Credit & Risk Manager or Head of Credit & Risk.
Requirements:
- Diploma in related field
- Minimum 1 year working experience in Credit and Risk function
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Power Query, Power BI
- Able to work independently in fast pace environment, able to multitask and manage time effectively.
