Job Responsibilities

  • Management of the daily work flow of all core warehouse & dispatch requirements for an extensive product range.
  • Maintain and ensure adherence to occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Supervise picking of goods for delivery and assigning deliveries to the appropriate delivery team(s).
  • Scheduling/routing of local deliveries or store pickups.
  • Liaise with vendors/forwarders on logistics arrangements and container unloading/loading.
  • Manage stock placement and maintain a well-organised, clean warehouse, including accounting for and disposal of damaged stock.
  • Conduct cycle-counts and report, investigate and resolve stock shortages and inventory errors on a regular basis.
  • Manage inter-company stock transfers including to and from Singapore or Penang.
  • General maintenance of delivery fleet and MHE, including scheduling of regular equipment/vehicle maintenance or replacement.
  • Ensure timely order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate receiving and picking process.
  • Attend to human resource matters for all warehouse and delivery personnel, including staff discipline, settlement of disputes, leave management etc.
  • Supervising, coaching and training of warehouse staff towards continuous improvement and development.
  • Ensure adherence to good work safety practices.
  • Work closely with the branch’s sales team to develop an effective logistics team structure, processes and operational framework to support the execution of the Company’s sales strategy.
  • Provide feedback to the Company’s Senior Management on areas for improvement with regard to operational issues (logistics, manpower requirements etc).
  • Identify potential cost savings and expenditure.

Job Requirements

  • Strong management, leadership, decision making and communication skills.
  • Computer literacy
  • Great customer service attitude
  • Minimum 3 years’ work experience in FMCG warehouse environment
  • Experience in working within a Very Narrow Aisle warehouse setup
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills
