RESPONSIBILITIES
The role will focus on providing analytical and strategic guidance to Mediacorp brand owners with the primary objective to drive youth audience engagement effectively, with a particular focus on short-form video (TikTok). The role will work with multiple social media brands owners, bridging the gap with platform strategies and expertise, to shape the brands content and audience engagement directions.
Responsibilities
- To set the direction and drive growth of Mediacorp's social medial brands to engage young audiences across digital platforms.
- Maintain, develop and optimise social media platforms audience engagement strategies.
- Conduct analysis using internal and external data (e.g. audience engagement, market and industry), define key performance indicators to derive insights that will drive business decisions.
- Develop deep understanding of TikTok platform, analysing content and industry trends and communicate insights in a comprehensible way to brand owners.
- Conceptualise, build, manage and maintain dashboards that the team can use to extract data and insights for channel management.
- Staying on top of the latest social media trends, identify opportunities to improve and youth audience engagement. Proactively identify and make recommendations on content and social channel engagement.
- Work effectively with cross-functional teams, driving results through extracting actionable insights for all content stakeholders and assist in managing the social platform relationships.
- Diploma / Degree in Mass Communication, Digital Marketing or any related discipline.
- At least 8 years of working experience.
- At least 2 to 3 years working experience in social media platform management.
- Experience of best practices for social media platforms.
- Experience analysing and deriving meaning from unstructured datasets.
- Experience in Data Visualisation tools, such as Power BI is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem solving experience with experience driving and delivering action based on data-driven insights and recommendations from data analyses.
- Experience in short form content development is a plus.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A strong understanding of what drives digital content on social media and how it should be presented.
- A broad and deep knowledge of digital content and social media trends.
